General Rules - Winners Choice is a "Pick Your Poison Format"
Player matchups: Home team has the choice of putting up first or passing to the visiting team
Winner's choice: Winner of the lag has choice of game - 8 Ball, 9 Ball or 10 Ball - or may choose to break
Illegal break: Pass the break to your opponent
Missed Rack
Missed 1 Ball for 9-ball or 10-ball
Fewer than 4 balls to a rail
Disturbed ball - If a ball contacted by a player's body, clothing or equipment. It is a foul if:
Player disturbs cue ball
Player disturbs more than 1 object ball
A disturbed ball contacts any ball
Player disturbs a ball in motion
Cueball contacts a disturbed ball
If a player disturbs a ball and no other ball is disturbed, it is the opponent's choice to move the ball back to the original spot, or leave the object ball where it lies. If the opponent is not given the option, it can be considered a foul.
Object ball leaves the table: Ball stays down, ball in hand is given to the opponent
Time outs: Players A and below are allowed 1 timeout per rack; AA players and above are not alloted any timeouts
Time allotment: Players are allowed 45 seconds per shot, which does not include when a player is waiting for someone to move out of their way. Timeouts are a maximum of 60 seconds. Enforcement and tracking of time is the responsibility of the team captains during their respective matches. If a timer is going to be used, it needs to be used for both players during a match.
Jumpshots: Jumpshots are allowed if the venue allows jumpshots
Start time: 7pm is the start time. Teams are allowed a 15 minute grace period to start the first match. No grace period for matches 2 and 3
Makeup matches: Teams must notify League Admin 24 hours prior to match day to compel a makeup match. If the team receives less than 24 hours notice, the opponent has the option of accepting a forfeit. All makeup matches must be completed before the last week of play
Rosters: Teams may carry up to 6 players per team. Rosters are frozen at the halfway point of all sessions. A player may be added after the halfway point if their team roster would become less than the minimum needed to play all of their matches for the night.
Markers: Use of markers of any kind to help the player aim are not allowed to be used.
